Look what I've been
spending my extra time on! I've been in another of my Batman moods and I love how my last Batman redesign pic
is STILL getting favs, so I thought I'd do another one! Once again, mostly just flat colors for now.Two-Face
AKA Hot Stuff. This is probably the only design ever where I take inspiration from the Nolanverse, and the Arkhamverse too I guess since it's very similar. I think the half-burnt look is pretty neat. I also used a more BTAS-ish Harvey and just added my own touches. I dunno, maybe giving him a double-breasted coat was a bad idea, but it just looked good on him. Plus, anything with the word "double" in it can't be that bad for Two-Face. I bet he likes Doublemint gum.The Riddler
AKA Super Green. Nnnot my favorite design of the bunch, though I tried. Eddie's outfit is mainly a combo of the Arkham City and BTAS versions, but the turtleneck was a last minute idea. I don't know if I'll use the turtleneck in my comic or go back to a tie and collared shirt, but I thought it was an interesting look to show off anyway. I put some teal in there...and less purple, because purple is Joker's thing, sorry Ridsy. XD Yeah, if you haven't noticed, I have this weird thing about characters having their own, individual color palettes.Catwoman
AKA Gritty Kitty. Ahh, Catwoman was basically my childhood. It is because of her Batman Returns look I forever have a love of all fabrics black and shiny.
For me, nothing can really beat the Batman Returns costume, but I decided I better not go with the "sewn together in a psychotic fit" look, and instead I looked to my second favorite costume, the animated series one, which I personally always felt was the most cat-like.
I don't like her with goggles, because I just generally don't like goggles on most looks anyway. I know why they give her them, but she just looks ready to fly an airplane to me, and covering up Catwoman's eyes? FOR SHAME.
I don't really like her in purple either, because how many bright purple cats do you see running around?
However, I didn't want to give her the same gray as in the animated series, instead I kind of had those pretty "blue" cats in mind, like Russian Blues, so her outfit has a darker, more blueish gray with a silvery shine, and I made her eyes more honey-colored, because I thought her having almost yellow eyes would be very cat-like and badass. I also like the idea of her whip looking like a tail when it's on her, because I always considered her whip as a sort of 'tail' anyway. I'm not sure about the chest thing, but it just seemed to complete the look. The Mad Hatter
AKA Checker-Dots. I had some trouble matching up his colors, I just know I wanted blue and egg yellow in there. I only had one rule with Mad Hatter's colors: NO GREEN. Or at least no large amounts of green. Short or tall, I think it makes him look like a leprechaun.
Hope you all likey. My Daniel comic will be returning soon, probably late September or early October.Vermillion Works"Daniel" webcomic.
