Well, this shouldn't surprise anyone who read my most recent journal entry too much. Here is my first try at some new, fun stuff...and nothing says fun like the Joker, I suppose. What Joker narrates about here is pretty much the only "plot", as I decided I needed something to work with, but I'll be pretty much making things up as I go. This'll be all about the rogues of Gotham, some comedy, some drama, all character interaction. Oh yeah, and blood. There will be blood.
This is not at all a solid project, it's just one of many experiments I'm trying out. I'll update it when I feel like it, I'll change the story or art when I feel like it, I'll drop it like a bag of dirt when I feel like it, and the backgrounds will forever make your eyes bleed. Reminds me of how I used to do webcomics back in the day. XP
Mind you, I haven't read many of the DC Batman comics save for a handful and most of my knowledge of the comics comes from...Wiki pages and Batman sites. My biggest inspiration comes from Batman the Animated Series, the movies and the Arkham games. The style, designs and personalities of the characters will be my own thing mixed with very familiar elements.
Is Joker gassing people at a DMV a retarded idea? Probably...but I was just trying to think of something Joker would do to quickly try to get Batman's attention, like he did robbing a jewelry store in the BTAS episode, "the Man Who Killed Batman". Also, no one likes the DMV.
Actually he once did an elaborate set-up of a poor dude who works for the Patent to get through the paperwork tut suit for his Joker Fish. When the poor man told him 'natural resources' couldn't BE patented the Joker got rather...unpleasant.
So, altogether, him attacking the DMV is very much in character for the Animated Series universe.

Had to read this while doing my best Mark Hamill's Joker impersonation.
