I felt like experimenting with some new coloring methods...as well as drawing the old cocky Jack we know and love again. Don't worry though...Jack will have his moments in VP X.
If there is ever a reason however for me to get back to work on the regular VP again sooner, like in the middle of working on VP X, it'll be just to get into Jack Darkness again.  I like how when I'm trying to do a new look, in the end...it looks like I did absolutely nothing different. =/ Maybe the hair is an exception...but I don't think the extra shading I added to rest of this is very obvious at all. I added a Vampire Phantasm logo to give it a little something...and I have been planning to try that "Symphony of Horror" quote from Nosferatu for a while now. I don't think it makes much sense though.  Ah well.-Ugh. Don't ever try to do inking with the paint brush tool in Paint Shop Pro. Too...crispy. X/ And it wasn't until afterwards that I found a better method for inking in there.  C'est la vie... [link] |
